Master Plumber
Jeff founded A+ Plumbing Services in 2000 and has been servicing Mount Horeb and the surrounding area faithfully ever since. Jeff works in all aspects of the business but really enjoys working with people. Jeff has been plumbing since 1988 and has been part of the local community for over 20 years. Jeff prioritizes quality work, fostering long-lasting relationships with his team and clients, and his local community and the people that make all this possible. Jeff has 3 adult children that grew up in the Mount Horeb school district and has attended many sporting and scholastic events. When he's not working you can find him hunting and enjoying the greater outdoors as well as spending time with his friends, family and grandchildren.
Brady is another of our Journeyman Plumbers and has been with A+ since September of 2019. And yes, the last name isn’t just a coincidence – Brady is Jeff’s son. Brady’s interest in plumbing began in high school – his interest in the business piqued and he knew he wanted to make A+ a second-generation company. Though they share the same surname, Brady and Jeff approach the business side of plumbing differently. Jeff sticks to tried-and-true methods, while Brady brings a fresh, modern perspective. Together, they blend old-school wisdom with new-school innovation, complementing each other perfectly without stepping on each other’s toes. Brady and his wife Hailey have begun forming their own fleet of future plumbers, with their first child born in February of 2025!
Jack joined the A+ Plumbing team in November of 2023. Jack passed his apprenticeship test and is currently enrolled in classes to become a Journeyman. Jack graduated from Iowa-Grant High School. He saw the A+ Plumbing trucks/team out and about and decided plumbing was what he wanted to do. Usually, Jack will be on job sites with Cullen or Brady, but sometimes you’ll find him shadowing and assisting the Master Plumber himself, Jeff. When Jack isn’t working, he enjoys fishing, hunting, and traveling.
Kari has been working with A+ Plumbing since the fall of 2021 and is our Accountant. Among her many duties, Kari performs benchmark reporting, invoicing, and the accounting behind A+ Plumbing. Kari is the owner of Kari Strang Tax & Accounting LLC located in Shullsburg, where she is originally from, and started her own business in 2004. She recently moved to Mount Horeb in 2024 and enjoys the new community and the friends she has met. Kari has 4 adult children and cherishes the time she is able to spend with them.
Kelly has worked for A+ Plumbing since August of 2005 and is one of our most tenured employees. She is our Office Manager and is usually our first line of contact for our customers. Kelly is from the Wisconsin Dells area and moved to Barneveld in 2005 with her husband Jason. They have 2 children – Ashland who is studying to be a vet tech and Billy who has recently joined the army. Kelly is ever a busy body…when she’s not at A+ you can find her working at Upland Hills Urgent Care in Mount Horeb, being a CNA for the elderly, running with Barneveld EMS, taking care of her animals, or hosting one of her famous parties.
Ryleigh joined the A+ Team in April of 2024. Ryleigh works part-time behind the scenes, mostly on bookkeeping tasks, but sometimes you’ll see her put down the calculator to post on A+’s social media accounts or rescue chipmunks out of window wells (an animal lover at heart). Ryleigh previously was an accounts receivable manager in the world of clinical research but was determined to learn about a new industry and skills when hired on with us. In her free time Ryleigh enjoys spending time with friends, fishing, baking, and her side-gig: dog sitting.
Zach is the newest addition to the A+ Team, he joined us in May of 2025. Currently he’s a laborer but is eager to learn more and enroll in an Apprenticeship program soon. Zach currently resides in Monroe but is originally from Monticello. Zach started out as a roofer. After seeing how each of the trades worked on numerous job sites, he took interest in plumbing and then made his way to A+. Zach has quickly earned the respect of the team with his solid work ethic and positive attitude; we’re looking forward to seeing him grow with the company! Although… “Zach” and “Jack” has become difficult to distinguish when discussing scheduling, so we’re accepting nickname suggestions.
Cullen is one of A+ Plumbing’s Journeyman Plumbers, he has been with A+ since June of 2014. He mostly does new construction or remodel work, but he is on-call one week of each month, so he’s done his fair share of service work over the years as well. He became a Journeyman in 2019 and has known he wanted to be a plumber since he was 18. Although, legend has it that his introduction to the trades was in electrical…but Jeff persuaded Cullen to give plumbing a try, and the rest is history. Cullen and his wife Brooke welcomed their first child in November of 2024 (our army of plumbers is growing)! Outside of work, he can usually be found hanging out with friends and family, working on house projects, or fishing, hunting, and loving every day.
Mike is one of our most tenured plumbing staff as he has been with A+ since June of 2006! Mike is a Journeyman Plumber and is our primary service technician, so you can expect to see him when you’ve got a leak, clog, or general plumbing emergency. Mike resides in Boscobel with his family. Mike is a bit camera shy, so you won’t see him on our website – but schedule a call for service and he will be glad to make an appearance!
